Quiche Lorraine

Restaurant:

Ingredients: 

6 eggs and three yolks
1 pint of heavy whipping cream
Salt and pepper to taste
3/4 cup Swiss cheese, grated
1 cup bacon, diced cooked
1/3 cup sautéed onions, diced
Pie shell (either homemade or store bought)

Method: 

Mix together the eggs and yolks along with whipping cream and salt and pepper.

Sauté bacon and onions until bacon is crispy and onions are soft. Mix with eggs.

Sprinkle a bit of the cheese in the bottom of pie shell. Then pour egg mixture over cheese into pie shell.

Add rest of cheese to top of poured batter in order to prevent the cheese from clumping together in the batter.

Bake in 350 oven until set (approx. 40 minutes)
